Volunteer with Mountainside Nature School

Mountainside Nature School is seeking a youth volunteer for weekly programming. Volunteers for the 7-9 year old group must be at least 13 and volunteers for the 10-12 year old group must be at least 15. Prior experience working with kids (babysitting, etc) is a plus but is not necessary.

Volunteers will gain valuable leadership leadership skills and have the chance to lead games, stories, and activities for the group as appropriate. Volunteers will also receive feedback from instructors at the end of the day and a written write up at the end of the season showcasing strengths and areas of growth. This is a great fit for a youth who loves to be outside and help younger kids.

Mountainside Nature School is actively looking for a volunteer on Tuesdays in fall 2025 from 9am-3pm at Deming Homestead Eagle Park to help with the 7-9 year old group.

If you are interested in being a volunteer but this class does not work for your schedule, please feel free to still reach out and I will get back to you if there is a good fit for spring programming.
