Summer Camp
Summer camp days are filled with lots of play, games, crafting, and learning about the natural world. Kids get to immerse themselves in nature for the week where they are free to run, play, and explore outdoors.

Summer Camp Details
Ages: 8-11 year olds
Session 1: Monday, June 29th - Thursday, July 2nd, 9am - 3pm
Session 2: Monday, August 10th - Thursday, August 13th, 9am - 3pm
Where: Deming Homestead Eagle Park
Cost: $240 / week

Example Schedule

9-10am: Arrival - running games like foxtails or freeze tag, along with a nature museum for a more relaxed start to the day
10am: Morning Circle. The group gathers to share gratitude, song, and get excited for a day outdoors
10:15 - 11am: Morning Game: Camouflage, Hide n Seek, Rub Rabbits Run. A game to get the group moving around and activate their mind and body
11-12pm: Play. After a few hours of directed activities, this is a great time to let them choose their own adventure
12 -1pm: Lunch and play: refuel and recharge
1-1:30pm: Afternoon game / challenge: Campers will be challenged to sneak, hide, and crawl in order to escape detection!
1:30 - 2pm: Crafting with natural materials (carving, weaving, knot tying, etc)
2 - 2:45pm: Play
2:45pm: Closing Circle: Campers get to share their stories and adventures from the day. This is a great time for reflection and group bonding.
3:00pm Pick Up: Campers head home happy, tired, and full of stories!
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations before May 1st will receive a 100% refund.
If you cancel after May 1st there will be a refund only if your spot can be filled from someone on the waitlist.
If you cancel 2 weeks before the session, please do not expect a refund. In the event of a late cancellation like this, families often donate their spot to the Financial Access Fund for Mountainside Nature School.​​​​​​
